Paste Cleaner

LLM output is Markdown. Your tools aren't.

Paste a ChatGPT or Claude answer below — rendered or raw Markdown, either works. Copy it as rich text for Word, Gmail and Notion, as Atlassian wiki markup for Jira and Confluence, or as clean plain text.

Why LLM answers paste badly

Chat assistants write Markdown: ## headings, **bold**, - lists, [links](url). Copy an answer from the chat window and you get rendered HTML with the assistant's styling baked in; copy from a code block or an API and you get the raw symbols. Neither lands well — Word and Gmail show literal asterisks, Jira's wiki-markup fields flatten the structure, and pasted chat styling clashes with your document.

What this does

Both forms are handled. Rendered answers get the styling stripped down to clean structure, and raw Markdown is parsed — headings, bold and italic, links, nested lists, tables, code blocks. Then you pick the destination's language: Rich for Word, Gmail, Outlook, Notion and Jira Cloud; Atlassian for Jira Server, Data Center and Confluence wiki markup; Plain when you want no formatting at all; or Markdown to normalise messy Markdown back to a clean standard form.

How do I paste ChatGPT output into Jira or Confluence?

Copy the answer, paste it here, choose Atlassian and copy. Jira Cloud's editor also accepts the Rich output directly. Raw markdown pasted straight into a wiki-markup field renders as asterisks and hashes.

Does it accept raw Markdown text?

Yes. If you paste plain text that looks like Markdown — headings, lists, bold, links, code fences — it is parsed first, then converted to whichever output you pick.

How do I get LLM output into Word or Gmail without the hashes?

Paste it here and copy in Rich mode: headings, bold, lists and links become real formatting instead of Markdown symbols.

Does my content get uploaded?

No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser; there is no server and nothing is stored.
